It features a 3-speed automatic-drive system with a servo motor that guides meat through the slicer, reducing operator workload. Its channel is three strokes long, creating ample room for storing large cuts of ham, chicken, or steak. Its carriage is tilted 25 degrees for operator safety, while its slicing mechanism is at a 40-degree tilt to simplify meat feeding. Its 13-inch blade has an edge with a certified 60-62 Rockwell hardness, ensuring it can achieve slice thicknesses measuring anywhere from 0 to 24 millimeters. Overall, the unit measures 28¹/₂ inches long by 22¹²/₂₅ inches wide by 24²/₃ inches high—perfect for front-of-house countertop use. To further support this countertop placement, it features a 6-foot-long cord.

Featuring a plethora of safety and maintenance features, the Bizerba GSPHDI150 meat slicer comes with a remote blade sharpener that locks on using a spring-loaded dial. Its lift arm is red, while its push arm is green, reducing the chance of confusion during use. It has a safety indicator light that flashes red while the blade is spinning and green when the blade is safe to be cleaned. The machine features eight safety interlock systems, and to ensure that operators can quickly adjust cut thickness and blade speed, it features a front-mounted control panel.
