Ideal for businesses with the space to dedicate a bulk storage area, the Amerikooler QF101277**FBRF indoor walk-in freezer is a quick-ship configuration measuring 11 feet 9¹⁄₄ inches wide by 9 feet 9³⁄₄ inches deep by 7 feet 7 inches tall. Although it ships unassembled, its modular, tongue-and-groove floor, ceiling, and wall panels simplify setup using the corrosion-resistant cam-action locking system. These panels are insulated with 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 rigid foam to establish a solid structure and provide an R-32 thermal resistance value to minimize energy consumption. For durability, the interior and exterior wall and ceiling panels are laminated with stucco-embossed, 26-gauge Acrylume® coating, while the floor panels are finished with smooth aluminum. To accommodate regular foot traffic, the floor can support an evenly distributed 600 pounds per square foot.

To simplify inventory loading and retrieval, this walk-in’s entrance door opens and closes smoothly because of its spring-assisted super cam-rise hinges and door closer. For secure closure, it’s built with a three-sided magnetic gasket, while a temperature-controlled heater wire minimizes the risk of frost building up along the door’s seal. An LED light is center mounted above the door jamb to brighten the box, and a digital LED thermometer provides an accurate temperature readout. To regulate changing pressure as warm air enters the unit, a heated pressure relief vent is built onto the door jamb. Operators can lock the deadbolt keyed handle after business hours, and an inside safety release system is built into the box so staff don’t become locked inside.

The Amerikooler QF101277**FBRF indoor walk-in freezer includes the Heatcraft Bohn BCH0019LBACHA0200-BEL0100BS6EEAB0400 refrigeration unit, which features an electronically commutated (EC) motor and microchannel coil technology capable of reducing energy and refrigerant consumption. This 2-horsepower unit can produce and maintain an interior box temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit. To save space inside the box, it can be remotely installed in ambient temperatures no hotter than95 degrees Fahrenheit. This system ships fully assembled, evacuated, charged, run tested, and wired to save time during setup.
