To store frozen foods in a safe environment, the Amerikooler QF060877**FBSM-O outdoor walk-in freezer is equipped with the Heatcraft Bohn PT0062LBTEMSA refrigeration system capable of achieving and maintaining a box temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit. This top-mounted, air-cooled unit operates with a two-speed electrically commutated evaporator fan motor, features an electric defrost mechanism, and is built with microchannel coils to minimize refrigerant use. For efficiency, it shouldn’t be used in areas exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

When fully assembled, this walk-in measures 7 feet 9¹⁄₄ inches wide by 5 feet 10⁵⁄₈ inches deep by 7 feet 7 inches tall. Its modular, tongue-and-groove wall, ceiling, and floor panels can be secured together with the corrosion-resistant cam-action locking system, and for an airtight seal, they include compression gaskets. All panels are built with 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 insulation to provide an R-32 thermal resistance value and fortify the structure. To create a classic appearance without sacrificing corrosion-resistant durability, the wall and ceiling panels feature stucco-embossed 26-gauge Acrylume® coating on their interiors and exteriors. To establish a sturdy, level surface, the floor panels are finished with smooth aluminum and can support an evenly distributed load of 600 pounds per square foot.

For an ideal environment, the Amerikooler QF060877**FBSM-O walk-in freezer’s door jamb is equipped with a heated pressure relief vent, while the door features a temperature-controlled heater wire to prevent the door seal from frosting. The 76-inch-tall entrance door is built with spring-assisted super cam-rise hinges to enhance mobility and a door closer, three-sided magnetic gasket, and flexible double wiper for secure closure. The keyed deadbolt handle can be locked after business hours, and to provide an exit route for staff locked inside the unit, the interior includes a safety release mechanism. While the LED-lighted interior enables operators to gauge inventory at a glance, the digital thermometer provides an accurate readout of the box temperature.
