This 55-inch-wide by 49¹⁄₂-inch-deep by 32²⁄₅-inch-tall system ships fully assembled, evacuated, charged, run tested, and wired to simplify installation; it shouldn’t be installed in areas exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It operates with R-448A refrigerant to produce and maintain temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit, and for efficiency, it features a two-speed evaporator fan motor, electric defrost, and microchannel coil technology.

Operators can assemble the included modular tongue-and-groove wall, ceiling, and floor panels using the cam-action locking system and compression gaskets. Each panel is comprised of 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 insulation that establishes a rigid structure and provides an R-32 thermal resistance value to minimize energy consumption. While the wall and ceiling panels feature interiors and exteriors laminated with stucco-embossed 26-gauge Acrylume®, the floor panels are finished with smooth aluminum. To accommodate regular foot traffic, the flooring can support an evenly distributed load of 600 pounds per square foot.

An LED light illuminates the storage space to enhance visibility, while a digital thermometer provides a bold LED readout of box temperature so staff can ensure contents are held within the desired temperature range. A heated pressure relief vent is built onto the door jamb, and a temperature-controlled heater wire is built onto the door to ensure the door seal doesn’t frost over. Operators can lock this unit’s keyed deadlock handle after business hours, while an inside safety release mechanism provides a safe exit in the case staff becomes locked inside.
