To dedicate a specific area to storing meat, dairy, vegetables, and other perishables in a safe environment, the Amerikooler QC101072**NBRC indoor walk-in cooler is a quick-ship unit measuring 9 feet 9¹⁄₄ inches wide by 9 feet 9³⁄₄ inches deep by 7 feet 2¹⁄₄ inches tall. For setup simplicity, this unit comes with a hardware and installation kit that includes a shop drawing, detailed installation instructions, hex wrench, and PVC press fit caps. Because the wall and ceiling panels are made of AK-XPSP4 rigid foam insulation, they establish a sturdy structure and provide an R-29 thermal resistance value to enhance energy efficiency. Operators can attach the panels using the corrosion-resistant cam-action locking system, while its compression gaskets create airtight joints. For lasting durability and corrosion resistance, the wall and ceiling panels’ interiors and exterior are laminated with stucco-embossed, 26-gauge Acrylume®-coated steel. Instead of floor panels, it includes a vinyl screed and should be placed on smooth tile or concrete.

This walk-in cooler is built with a swing-type 76-inch-tall entrance door featuring two super cam-rise spring-assisted hinges for smooth opening and a door closer to ensure the door fully closes. For a positive seal, it’s also equipped with a three-sided magnetic gasket and a flexible double wiper along the bottom edge. Inside the unit, an LED light positioned above the door jamb illuminates the area. Operators can quickly gauge interior temperatures with the digital LED thermometer, ensuring box controls are within the set range. After business hours, the deadbolt keyed handle latch can be locked, and to reduce the risk of staff becoming trapped inside, the handle features an inside safety release mechanism.

To maintain an interior temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit, the Amerikooler QC101072**NBRC floorless walk-in cooler operates with the included Heatcraft Bohn BCH0008MBACZA0000-BEL0095AS6AMAB0400 remote condensing unit and electronically commutated (EC) motor. This unit features microchannel coil technology to reduce refrigerant and energy usage, and to facilitate setup, it ships prewired and preassembled. For efficiency, it should be installed in areas that don’t exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
