The Amerikooler QC081277**FBSC-O walk-in outdoor cooler maintains an interior temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit in 90-degree-Fahrenheit ambient settings with the Heatcraft Bohn PT0097MBTAMSA PRO³ packaged top-mounted refrigeration system. This 55-inch-wide by 36-inch-deep by 32²⁄₄-inch-tall piece of equipment combines a unit cooler and condensing unit to simplify installation and reduce the required refrigerant charge. It’s designed to be mounted on the top of the cooler to maximize interior space, and it ships fully assembled, evacuated, charged, run tested, and wired.

Although this cooler ships unassembled, it can be set up with ease using the included hardware and installation instruction kit and tongue-and-groove wall, ceiling, and floor panels. The panels feature a corrosion-resistant cam-action locking system and compliant compression gasket to create an airtight structure. Each panel is made of permanently bonded, water-resistant AK-XPS4 rigid foam insulation that maintains an R-29 thermal resistance value. The wall and ceiling panel interior and exteriors are finished with 26-gauge, stucco-embossed Acrylume®, or GALVALUME® coated with corrosion-resistant acrylic paint. To support general foot traffic, the 4-inch-thick floor panels are made of smooth aluminum and accommodate 600 pounds of evenly distributed weight per square foot. Once fully assembled, it measures 7 feet 10 inches wide by 11 feet 9¹⁄₄ inches deep by 7 feet 7 inches tall.

Inside the Amerikooler QC081277**FBSC-O walk-in cooler, an LED light fixture is center mounted on the door jamb to brighten the space. Operators can manage interior temperatures with the digital LED thermometer, which provides an easy-to-read display. The elbowed pilot on/off light switch enables staff to turn the unit’s light on and off with shoulders, elbows, or other parts of the arm for convenience when hands are full. The 76-inch-tall entrance door features two super cam-rise hinges with a ⁵⁄₈-inch lift to prevent the door from dragging and reduce gasket wear. So the door closes securely, it’s built with a door closer and three-sided magnetic gasket. If users become locked inside the unit, they can open the door from the inside with the interior safety lock release handle.
