The Amerikooler QC081077**FBSC-O outdoor walk-in cooler measures 7 feet 10 inches wide by 9 feet 9¹⁄₄ inches deep by 7 feet 7 inches tall and ships disassembled. To ease setup, it comes with an installation kit that includes a shop drawing, detailed installation instruction, hex wrench, and PVC press fit caps. This quick-ship unit is comprised of tongue-and-groove panels featuring a corrosion-resistant cam-action locking system and a compression gasket to create a rigid structure when attached. Each panel is made of 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 rigid foam insulation that resists water damage, maintains an R-29 thermal resistance over time, and is permanently bonded to the primed metal surface to create a rigid structure. For lasting durability and corrosion resistance, the wall and ceiling panel interiors and exterior are laminated with 26-gauge Acrylume®—zinc-aluminum coated steel—coated with an acrylic paint.

The swing-type entrance door grants access to the unit’s interior, and to ensure it’s fully closed, it features a three-sided magnetic gasket and double wiper along the bottom edge. Its heavy pull handle features an inside safety release mechanism that ensures staff members can open the door from the inside. The door jamb is equipped with an LED light that brightens the interior and a digital LED thermometer that provides a large temperature readout. Smooth aluminum floor panels measuring ¹⁄₂₀ of an inch thick accommodate an evenly distributed load of 600 pounds per square foot—ideal for foot traffic. To ease cleaning, a ¹⁄₂-inch radius cove lines the floor’s perimeter.

The Amerikooler QC081077**FBSC-O walk-in cooler accommodates the Heatcraft Bohn PT0078MBTAMSA PRO³ packaged top-mount refrigeration system. This 58-inch-wide by 39-inch-deep by 37³⁄₄-inch-tall unit can be installed on top of the cooler so it won’t take up storage space inside the unit. To ease setup, it ships fully assembled, evacuated, charged, run-tested, and wired. Able to operate in ambient temperatures as hot as 90 degrees Fahrenheit, it can generate and maintain a 35-degree-Fahrenheit interior using R-448A refrigerant.
