Amerikooler QC080872**NBSC 8' x 8' Indoor Walk-In Cooler w/ Top-Mounted Compressor - No Floor

The Amerikooler QC080872**NBSC indoor walk-in cooler includes the Heatcraft Bohn PT0068MBNAMSA PRO³ packaged top-mount refrigeration system, which includes a condensing unit that can be mounted atop the cooler to conserve storage space inside the unit. To simplify setup, this refrigeration system is fully assembled, evacuated, charged, run tested, and wired. This unit is designed to operate in ambient temperatures as hot as 90 degrees Fahrenheit and can maintain a box temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit—great for a wide range of perishables. This system uses R-448A refrigerant.

This cooler measures 7 feet 10¹⁄₈ inches wide by 7 feet 10 inches wide by 7 feet 2¹⁄₄ inches tall overall; it doesn’t include a floor. Instead, the included vinyl screed can be placed on a finished tile or concrete floor, then lag fastened to the floor. To ease setup, this unit comes with an installation kit that includes a shop drawing, detailed installation instructions, a hex wrench for cam-lock panel assembly, and PVC press fit caps. Each panel is made of 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 rigid foam insulation that’s permanently bonded to the interior and exterior metal skin. The panels’ tongue-and-groove edges feature a corrosion-resistant thermoplastic cam-action panel fastener, while the panels’ tongues have compression gaskets that create airtight joints during assembly. The interior and exterior wall, ceiling, and exterior of floor panels sport a 26-gauge, corrosion-resistant, stucco-embossed Acrylume® metal finish.

So staff members can access the Amerikooler QC080872**NBSC walk-in cooler’s interior, it’s built with a 76-inch-tall swing-type entrance door with two spring-assisted hinges, a magnetic gasket, and a door closer. To prevent users from accidentally locking themselves inside the unit, the deadbolt keyed handle includes an inside safety release. While the door jamb’s center-mounted LED light fixture illuminates the cooler’s interior, the digital thermometer provides a large readout of the interior temperatures. The interior also features a safety pilot light on/off switch and a conduit between the switch box and outlet junction box.
