Operators can easily set the digital thermostat on the AccuTemp EGF2401B2450-S2 Accu-Steam™ EG Series mobile commercial griddle. Built into the front of the griddle, the thermostat has a temperature range between 200 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and three temperatures can be preset into the thermostat for commonly cooked items. Once the temperature is set, heating elements mounted inside the vacuum chamber are immersed into chemically pure water to create steam. A sealed steam chamber begins to heat the griddle plate for uniform cooking results. The ³⁄₁₆-inch-thick griddle plate is made of cold-rolled and annealed stainless steel for quick cleaning, while its entire body is made of polished stainless steel to defend against dents and scratches in humid kitchen environments.

To help improve user experience, the AccuTemp EGF2401B2450-S2 Accu-Steam EG Series griddle has several built-in safety features. Manager mode locks the temperature on the thermostat so unauthorized users can’t change the temperature, and when the griddle is heating, a heating indicator light will turn on. If it overheats, an over-temperature indicator light alerts the user. Spills and grease are contained with rear and side splashes, while grease funnels into a grease trough, chute, and finally a drawer for easy removal and quick cleanup once the oil is cold. Keeping maintenance low, the water in the vacuum doesn’t need to be replaced. Users can transport this griddle because its casters are designed for smooth movement, reversal, and parking, and by moving the griddle, users save space and can clean under hard-to-reach areas.
