To maintain a box temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit, it comes with the Heatcraft Bohn BCH0014LBACHA0200-BEL0090BS4EEAB0400 remote refrigeration system. This 1¹⁄₂-horsepower unit features an electronically commutated (EC) motor for efficiency. To minimize the required refrigerant charge, it’s built with microchannel coil technology. Because the included floor, ceiling, and wall panels are built with 4-inch-thick rigid foam insulation, they provide an R-32 thermal resistance value to retain generated temperatures in various ambient settings. For best results, the refrigeration unit shouldn’t be exposed to temperatures hotter than 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

To ease setup, the Amerikooler QF101077**FBRF walk-in freezer includes a cam-action locking system that can connect the wall, floor, and ceiling panels. The compression gaskets create an airtight seal, while the wall and ceiling panels’ stucco-embossed Acrylume® coating provides corrosion-resistant durability. The floor panels are finished with smooth aluminum that creates an even walking surface and supports 600 pounds per square foot when the weight is distributed evenly. So operators can seamlessly enter and exit the unit, the 76-inch-tall hinged, self-closing door is built with super cam-rise spring-assisted hinges that ensure smooth opening and closing. The three-sided magnetic gasket provides a secure seal when the door is closed, while a temperature-controlled heater wire minimizes the risk of frost buildup.

Inside the box, an LED light above the door jamb illuminates the storage area, and a digital thermometer provides an easy-to-read LED temperature display so operators can quickly gauge inventory and interior temperature. The heated pressure relief vent above the door regulates interior pressure as warm air enters the unit when the door is opened. The door’s deadbolt keyed handle can be locked during non-business hours to deter theft, and to prevent employees from accidentally locking themselves in the freezer, it’s built with an inside safety release mechanism.
