The Amerikooler QC081272**N indoor walk-in cooler ships disassembled without flooring or a refrigeration system. To ease setup, it comes with a hardware and installation instruction kit that includes a shop drawing, detailed installation instructions, hex wrench, and PVC press fit caps. The modular ceiling and wall tongue-and-groove panels are built with cam-action locking systems and compression gaskets to establish airtight joints. To ensure the unit is secured in place on a finished tile or concrete floor, it comes with vinyl screed that can be lag fastened to the surface. When fully assembled, it measures 7 feet 10 inches wide by 11 feet 9¹⁄₄ inches deep by 7 feet 2¹⁄₄ inches tall overall.

Closed-cell, 4-inch-thick, and water-resistant AK-XPS4 rigid foam insulation built into the Amerikooler QC081272**N walk-in cooler’s panels creates a sturdy structure while maintaining an R-29 thermal resistance value over time. For lasting corrosion resistance, the panels are laminated with 26-gauge stucco-embossed Acrylume® that’s finished with a corrosion-resistant paint. Its 76-inch-tall Acrylume stucco-finished entrance door features two super cam-rise hinges that minimize gasket wear and reduce the chance of door sweep drag. Its three-sided magnetic gasket, door closer, and double wiper along its base ensure the door closes securely. The door jamb is fitted with a center-mounted LED light fixture and a digital LED thermometer that provides an easy-to-read temperature display.
